Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This page explains what personal data is processed when you visit this website, subscribe to the newsletter or book a call, and what your rights are. I collect as little as possible, and I never sell personal data or use it for advertising.
This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Visiting this website
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the USA. When you visit, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of access. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
The website may load fonts from Google Fonts, run by Google LLC in the USA. If it does, your browser connects to Google's servers to download them, which shares your IP address with Google.
The website does not currently use any visitor statistics or tracking tool.
Newsletter
The newsletter is published on Substack, run by Substack Inc. in the USA. If you subscribe, Substack processes your email address and reading activity under its own privacy policy. I can see subscriber email addresses and basic statistics such as opens. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
Booking a call
Calls are booked through Calendly, run by Calendly LLC in the USA. When you book, Calendly processes your name, email address, the time you choose and anything you add to the booking. I use this only to prepare and hold the call. The call itself takes place on Zoom, under Zoom's own privacy policy.
If you write to me, I use your email address and message to reply. Email is handled by Microsoft Outlook.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you open Calendly or Substack, those services may set their own cookies, under their own policies.
Links to other websites
This website links to LinkedIn, Substack and Calendly. When you follow a link, the other website's privacy policy applies.
Data processed outside Switzerland
Several of the providers above are based in the USA. Where data goes to a country without an adequate level of protection, transfers rely on recognised safeguards, such as the Swiss-US or EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or standard contractual clauses.
How long data is kept
I keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. Booking details and email correspondence are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what personal data I hold about you
- correct or delete it
- stop using it
- send it to you in a common format
Email alexandremillet@outlook.com and I will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the EU or EEA, to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
I will update this policy when the website or the services it uses change. The current version is always on this page.
